[lug] USENET access

I've been using Google groups to access USENET since Google bought up 
DejaNews. Now Google is doing its best to decrease the signal to noise ration 
per screen in its Groups interface. 

Is there another good way to access USENET while on the road and using many 
different ISPs to get onto the net?
