I ran locate mozilla|grep spell on my debian system and got this: /usr/lib/mozilla/components/libmyspell.so /usr/lib/mozilla/components/libspellchecker.so /usr/lib/mozilla/components/myspell /usr/lib/mozilla/components/spellchecker.xpt It just works for me.
