I've been a pretty happy user of Travelocity for a while now -- the
flight selection system is good, and sometimes I get good deals
regarding cars.

There are a few meta-searches; I've used qixo.com a few times, and it
is a bit rusty (likely because it is screen-scraping 70-80 airline
sites) but it has found a few gems.
