[lug] KRUD FC 3

On my debian install ( Iwas struggling with the very same
thing this morning) for kde3, I found that by changing the
line in
 /etc/kde3/kdm/kdmrc

that looks like

AllowRootLogin=false

to

AllowRootLogin=true

did the trick.
