Actually if you copy the plugin to the mozilla plugins directory, it
won't work.  You have to link it.

I have successfully used the dslreports.com/stest to test bandwidth from
mozilla/firefox and linux.

libjavaplugin_oji.so lives in $JAVA_HOME/jre/plugin/i386/ns610-gcc32/
for j2sdk1.4.2_04 and $JAVA_HOME/jre/plugin/i386/ns7/ for jdk1.5.0_01
