[lug] KDE and Gnome Desktops

Hi all,

Somewhere along the way, my Gnome and KDE desktops have started stepping on 
each other.  As far as I can tell, both of them are using ~/Desktop.  This is 
a problem because desktop icons created in one are not propoerly recognized 
by the other, and the desktops look really ugly and confusing as a result.  
I've tried poking around to try and figure out where I can change the 
location of the desktops, but haven't had any luck.  Any help in getting 
these two to play together more nicely would be appreciated.
