Wow.  That bug report and chain are a perfect example of what happens 
when a bug report and the resulting discussion really head into the 
ditch with an open-source project.

Bunch of real jerks in that thread... picking on their end-users for 
reporting a BUG. 

Good one to learn NOT to emulate.
