OPTIMUS Corporation in Fort Collins, Colorado
is looking for mid-level Java developers.  The
ideal candidate will have earned a BS degree
in Computer Science, Math or a quantitative
discipline and will have 3/4+ years experience
developing software in a professional commercial
environment.

The candidate must be proficient in the Java/WEB
environment (language, J2EE, Junit, Struts, Ant,
the Apache OSS offerings, Eclipse, Tomcat, etc.)
on Windows or UNIX.  English language fluently
spoken and written is a must.  The ideal candidate
will also be familiar with one or more of:

* Web standards and architectures (SOAP, HTTP,
  TLS, PKI, HTML, AJAX, WEB-MVC, etc.)
* all things XML (XML, XSLT, SAX, DOM, Schemas,
  etc.)
* RDBMS (SQL DDL, SQL DML, JDBC, data modeling,
  basic administration, etc.)

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated these
soft skills: 
* Team player in cross-functional teams with
  varied personalities
* Can present and share complex ideas and concepts
  effectively
* Functions well in iterative PM with daily
  accountability

The applicant is expected to be comfortable
working from pictorial or HTML user interaction
mockups designed with a marketing team. C/C++ is
desired; exposure to MFC is a plus.  The applicant
must be eligible for permanent legal employment in
the USA.  Local candidates are preferred. Agency
or third-party candidates will not be considered.
