Well, consider it this way... 1000 MB/s Ethernet not running perfectly 
and taking a few CRC errors is still probably faster than 100 Mb/s 
Ethernet running perfectly.  I bet it'd work.  You could find out with a 
couple of cheap NIC's!  (GRIN)
