[lug] Memory or CPU error?

I have a server (athlon-xp 2800) that is reporting these events every 2 days or so:

   [243685.629796] MCE: The hardware reports a non fatal, correctable incident occurred on 
CPU 0.
   [243685.629804] Bank 2: 940040000000017a

Is this a memory error or a CPU error? The bank2 part of the message suggests
a memory of some kind. It could be the on CPU cache though. The system's SDRAM
doesn't have ECC so I don't know how a machine check exception could be
generated for access to the SDRAM.
