  Your trouble may also have something to due with the ARM processor
not having floating point hardware (the last one I played with did not
have any).  There are some double data types in the rsync code.  If it
uses these alot then that might be the bottleneck.  The code I was
playing with on an ARM used alot of floating point and it was very,
very slow.
