[lug] network drives as backup?

I echo this.  USB drives are convenient, easy to move, and fairly cheap 
(the enclosure is maybe $30, and add the cost of whatever drive you 
want).

I've got one hanging off my main data server, and run nightly backups to 
it.  Now and then I need to move it to another system to copy backup 
files quickly, or burn a CD for archival purposes.  Plug and play.
