Shortly after I got my ADSL from Qwest, I replaced the ActionTec with a
Sangoma S518 ADSL PCI card. This way the ADSL line just appears as another
network interface on my Linux firewall. That made connecting an internal
network (with private IP addresses) and a DMZ network (with public, static
IP addresses) to the Internet very simple and straight forward. The card
sells for around $135 and setup for Qwest's PPPoA was reasonably painless.
It has been working great for about nine months now!

No, I don't work for Sangoma or have in stock in them, just a happy
customer. :) TTYL.
