My mistake - bad vocabulary.  It's not DDNS (although it has that, I've
got it connected to DynDNS.org) - what I meant is that it's a DHCP
server and it has a table of assigned addresses which I can see through
the web interface. That's the table I thought I could use through some
kind of DNS server for the local network.

The easiest way might be to just still allow a limited DHCP range, but
assign the permanently connected machines inside the network to
addresses outside of that range and maintain hosts files.

I just thought that if it was a DHCP server that somehow I could access
that information.
