[lug] postfix aliases, best practices?

I believe postmaster is required for RFC compliance.  abuse@ is a common 
one for courtesy's sake.  You should also have whichever email address 
is listed for the domain name registration.

Otherwise it's usu. about redirecting mail to a central place rather 
than having everybody in /etc/passwd have a mail spool when they don't 
need one.
