On my Gentoo install in the System->Administration menu I have an entry
named "Boot" which edits the boot configuration.

To do it in text, edit either /etc/grub.conf
or /boot/grub/grub.conf.  /etc/grub.conf is often a sym-link
to /boot/grub/grub.conf.
