Note: Please forgive the off topic post, but I got permission from the
list managers before posting.
Colorado Engineering, Inc. (CEI) is currently seeking qualified
candidates for fulltime software engineering R&D positions. The ideal
candidate will have a broad software development (not IT) background
ranging from embedded systems to enterprise applications. A current
emphasis is on Grid computing application development using Java and
JBOSS but overall duties will run the gamut of software, from board
bringup and custom Linux distributions to build systems and graphical
interfaces to custom low-level algorithm design and enterprise network
integration.
Current projects include a ground-up SOA grid system based on Java and
JBOSS, a radar processing system with embedded Linux and a DARPA
sponsored distributed agent management system.
Requirements include Linux/Unix, Java and C, though with a broad enough
background the languages you know won't matter - you'll learn more.
Hardware experience helpful, such as work with FPGAs, but not required.
At CEI, you'll get to put your fingers in a lot of technology so you
need to live, eat, breathe and dream software.
Positions are in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Some relocation (moving
expenses only, likely) may be available with telecommuting also possible
for the right candidates.
Salaries commensurate with experience. Principles only (re: no
recruiters) at this time.
