I could do a talk on "what is Asterisk good for anyway". I've set up the
asterisk system for tummy.com, my home, and a friend's place, including
things like:
Telemarketer blocker.
Blacklist of annoying callers.
Whitelist of allowed callers.
Voicemail to e-mail.
Handling calls differently depending on the time of day.
Tracking down someone to make sure an important voice-mail is heard.
How do you make calls?
How do you get calls to/from the regular phone system?
Let me know if there's interest in this sort of thing.
