[lug] Connecting to Fiber

 I need to put a number of computers in a place that is all fiber wall jacks.

I was told I needed to "buy converters/adapters".

But when I "go shopping" what I seem to see are combo fiber network cards - $110,
and fiber jack to card cables - $22

Is this the cheapest way to do this?
