top, bottom, middle it all depends on the context as others have stated.
for instance, i'm posting this top because the entire replied to
message is easy to see in the body with my reply and it's easier for the
reader to jump on my statement at the top. imho, the nature of this
thread doesn't require bottom posting because it's basically just a
bunch of opinions. not too hard to follow that at the top.
what DOES bug me though is how different email clients (esp some of the
online mail apps) screw up INLINE reply commenting. royal pita.
regardless of whether you top or bottom post, nothing sucks more than
when you have to get creative to tame inline replies / commenting.
