[lug] OT: netbook opinions?

i'm piggybacking on this growing thread with some related questions.

does anybody have any thoughts on:

- how silent these netbooks are, especially those that use HDs vs SDDs?  i
think the SDD based models are pretty darned silent.  not sure if netbooks
have fans or not?

- which is the better / faster processor : atom versus celeron?  i've
heard conflicting info on both and different models / mfgs use different
processors.  i realize that neither of these are going to be screamers but
just curious if one might offer some advantages versus the other.
