And who'd expect to find Linux zealots on a Linux Users' Group mailing
list? :-)
When I called the sales number on the web page, they told me this:
(1) The USB modems are OS-agnostic and will work fine with Linux. (Just
passing on the answer I got, not vouching for it.)
(2) There's a free, 1-month, trial period. If it doesn't work for you, you
can return it and cancel. Returns are a minor pain, but it's something.
Hope this helps.
Also, while parts of Nate's post may be just another troll, it's a bit odd
to see Dave Anselmi being accused of being a Linux zealot.
Dave organizes the Installfests, and donates his time to help folks switch
to Linux who want to, but he's also one of the most distro-impartial and
other-OS-accepting guys I've met. I just thought I'd stand up for him.
