Does anybody have experience with hot-plugging SATA drives?
 From what I can find on the web, it appears that all newer
SATA drives can be hot plugged by nature as it is part of
the SATA spec. But, there might be issues with controllers
handling hot plugging.

Do you really need special SATA disks for hot plugging? On
Dell's web site, server configurations list hot plug SATA
drives and non-hotplug drives. The hot plug versions are
2.5 times more expensive. What's the difference?
