That's cool. If I weren't an Apple freak with my forced AT&T account
and iPhone... or if I weren't a big chicken and would be willing to
jailbreak it and move it to T-Mo and the "alternate" App Stores that

I was a T-Mo user for many years happily, and they ALWAYS beat everyone
else on customer service...

I guess I'm one of the Apple users that has been scared away from the iPhone by the AT&T commitment. As soon as they buy back their soul from AT&T and partner up with T-Mobile, you'll find me in the Apple Store shopping earnestly instead of just looking.
As far as WiFi networks go, most WiFi-enabled phones have a memory for SSIDs and keys, so once you set it up and tell it to remember it, you're good to go. I haven't tested it, but what impresses me is the reported automatic failover to the cell network when you leave the safety of your WiFi network, even during a call, and back to WiFI once you're in range again! This kind of stuff really makes the $10 a month extra we pay (flat rate for plan, not per line) for this feature worthwhile.
