Yes and no... it's got USB to the computer, but there's no wired
connection to the stylus.  The stylus has no power source of its own.
It's detected by the tablet when either end gets within about half an
inch of the tablet.

I'm not an electrical engineer - I can say "I think it works by
induction" without completely knowing what I mean by that, because
that's what an electrical engineer once said to me. :)
