Evolution should work and if it does, it works as a very, very good
replacement for MUA + fetchmail + procmail.

What is really needed for procmail, Evolution message filters and any
other rule based message processing is a "Try" activity where a message
could be put through the rules to see what would happen.  Without that,
all you can do is make a rule, wait, guess at your failure, and wait
some more..
