[lug] Appcelerator experience?

Has anyone had any experience with Appcelerator Titanium http://www.appcelerator.com/ 
  - an OSS cross-platform iphone, android, desktop app framework that  
can use HTML, CSS, and ruby, javascript, or python for scripting the  
logic?

The reason I ask is the promise looks good but the documentation is  
light.  When I started digging into their wiki's, it didn't take very  
many pages before I was off-road - little or no API documentation.   
The skeleton is there in the wiki, but it's not filled out.
