[lug] kmail locked up

hello,

I have benn using kmail with out any problems using SuSE 6.4 but yesterday
it had an error while recieving mail and this
error will not allow me to access any part of the important information I
need to access.
Is there a file where Kde mail is stored where I can remove this one mail
item or something else I could do?
