[lug] Midrange Linux Laptops

Hi,

I'm planning to buy a midrange laptop for linux software
development and will install my own linux ... probably debian.
Right now I'm looking at system76 pangolin and dell inspiron.

Any comments on system76 vs dell regarding reliability, ease
of o/s install (special drivers for wifi?), etc?
