Thanks for the suggestions on Hamachi!  I just set it up to experiment
with it, and it looks like a nice, easy-to-use solution.

On asking elsewhere, I got the following suggestions:

* Set up IPv6 through a provider like tunnelbroker.net, sixxs.net, and
tunnel across NAT to the broker.

* Use chownat[1] or pwnat[2] to do some clever network tricks involving

As for myself, I think it's probably time I look into IPv6.  Does
anyone have recommendations on tunnel brokers?
