I am still sure that the Windows Protected Path and Bitlocker stuff will
not work if NTLDR is not the very first thing to load.

Now after a bit of Googling, it looks possible that's only true if the
system is using a TPM chip. But if there *is* a TPM chip then putting
NTLDR first on the MBR is required.
