Are there any Android enthusiasts on BLUG who have gotten TTL serial data directly into an Android?

Lots of sensor sources produce TTL serial data, but the only good ways I can see into Android are via Bluetooth or Wifi bridges to the sensor.   Any other ideas, software, or products you might point me to?

You might want to look at using USB...there is a way to put an ordinary keyboard on the usb, so it is available for other uses too. See: http://www.androidcentral.com/usb-host-motorola-droid-droid-does

Although that is for a keyboard, probably quite a few other devices would work.
