[lug] JBOD File Browser?

Apparently, my Google-Fu failed. :)

My thanks to John Hernandez and David Anselmi who both pointed me at 
UnionFS (there seems to be many flavors under different names).

I'm not sure any version will fit my requirements, but it gives me a 
place to start.
