[lug] DHCP and link status question

In looking further into solutions based on what I perceived to be the need to detect link on the wired interface, I found the package ifplugd @ http://0pointer.de/lennart/projects/ifplugd/ifplugd.8.xml 

ubuntu: apt-get install ifplugd

After configuring the file /etc/default/ifplugd and restarted the daemon and now the plug-in/out works as I would expect.
