Which interface is easier to learn? I am new to Linux and have yet to have time to do an install hoping this weekend.

http://linuxmint.com/Linux Mint 13 is out.I did my first install of it today and I really like it. It's based on Ubuntu 12.04 but ditches the Unity interface for it's own 'Cinnamon' interface that blends Gnome3 and some original work.I'm sticking with Fedora at home for a variety of reasons (full commitment to Gnome, my comfort with yum/rpm, and a desire to have close to bleeding edge KVM virtualization) but for friends who love Debian I'm recommending Linux Mint. It's really beautiful to look at with a tremendous amount of polish and presentation. And of course, all the usual stuff from any quality Linux distribution is present, but it's the desktop innovation you'll notice first and what'll really impact your daily use of it.I loaded it on a 5 year old, single socket dual core AMD Opteron workstation with only 2G of RAM and an old 3D video card. Anything moderately current should run LM13 really well.Enjoy!
