I have to concur with the majority here. If you're going to run Oracle DBMS, run it on Oracle Linux. It works best there, and noticeably better than on upstream (RHEL).

But better yet, dump Oracle entirely, and run PostgreSQL on RHEL, instead. Now, while you still have a chance.
