[lug] xbmc addons in python

Anyone here ever written an xbmc addon in python?  That's the plugin
language of choice for that project.  It also means I have my first
compelling reason to learn python - I need to write a connman interface
to configure the network on my PiBox distribution via XBMC.  

Anyway, I'm just looking for a little guidance on my first xbmc addon.
Just thought I'd ask here before diving into the heavier noise of xbmc
dev forums.
