Hi, everyone. I'm trying to help a relative of mine set up a network
between two Mandrake 6.5 systems. The problem I've got is with the network
device module, via-rhine, for a D-Link DFE-530Tx on IRQ 3, IO 0x1000
#modprobe via-rhine
via_rhine.o: init_module: Device or resource busy
#modprobe via-rhine io=0x1000
invalid parameter io
Trying to set io or irq either on the command line or in conf.modules
is only seen as an invalid parameter.
lspci shows:

I'm quite sure of the fact that this isn't a conflict of IRQs or IO space in
either Windows or Linux. I've been banging my head against this wall for a
couple hours, and this seems intuitively a 30-second problem. I'm feeling
rather stupid. Can someone give us a hand?
Thanks.
