Howdy,

I've also been with Dreamhost since 2007 and in the first 3-4 years it 
was really stable and that was great when I was living and traveling 
abroad. The past 2 years it's been rocky with a series of outages and 
hardware migrations, network outages, and losing my crontab at random 
times. Definitely review the Dreamhost Status page (below) to get a feel 
of what has been happening before you make a final decision.

That said, the prices are cheap and if your needs can suffer a bit of 
outage here and there, they can provide what you need. Additionally, 
they host a "one click" feature that installs the Wordpress client and 
then you can have them keep it updated automatically. This is handy if 
you don't want to have to watch for emails to log in and manually 
upgrade, but it may limit file access because their headless account 
owns the directory structure.

I've considered moving away from them a few times, but so far, it hasn't 
been bad enough to finally push me to the pain of migrating to another 
provider. (It *has* been close a few times, however.)
