Hi Quentin,

Not sure if you're aware of it, but the 3M Filtrete WiFI thermostat has a RESTful interface, so you could do all the setting/control yourself.  I've used the REST API and nearly everything is there that you can do from the touchscreen, so while they provide the webapp and way for the thermostat to register itself on their service, you wouldn't have to use it except for firmware updates.
