Companies often start out friendly and open.  As they get bigger, they often change, closing off, speaking in legalese and attempting to protect all those precious profits.

I don't fully understand this* change, but I'm going to assume this is Red Hat betting on openness and community and not anything else.

* There is a press conference at 5PM Eastern, so look for news from your favorite sources in the next few hours or day regarding what this really means.
