[lug] Has anybody tried multiseat?

And if so, any suggestions, hints or tricks?
I'm interested in trying this on a Linux Mint Debian Edition running
Mate (LMDEM).

If it matters, most of the time the box (a laptop) would be
single-used, but occasionally having the second user being able to use
it without displacing the first one would make family life easier :-)
