Not cosmology, biology.

Of the eight lines shown in Wikipedia, you see the lowest-frequency four.
 Bees, which see in the range 300nm - 600nm, see the highest-frequency
seven.  For a bee, there is no catch: the faster he goes away, the
*fewer*they see. When I say, "... the more you'll see," it's because
I'm assuming
you're human.

Well, or at least not bug-eyed. :-)
