[lug] Linux for New User (Desktop OS)

Plus one for Kubuntu. I tried Mint and Mate a year ago, but I felt like I
was regressing. I would consider Netrunner:
http://www.netrunner-os.com/netrunner-14-rc1-available/ (I have a KDE
aesthetic, I guess).
