The November BLUG meeting is tonight.
Speaker: Chris Riddoch
Title: Customize your linux distro with Kiwi
Abstract: If you want your operating system to *really* be ready to use the
moment it's
been installed, then Kiwi may be for you. Created by the SUSE folks, it is
the core of SUSE Studio, a website where you can create your own
custom system and deploy it on the spot. Kiwi can help you provision
your servers or
development environments for *any* of the major distributions. This talk may
touch on Kiwi's role in the Open Build Service as well, but will at least
demo
a build with kiwi.
Bio: Chris Riddoch is a longtime Boulder Linux User. He's that guy with
the really long hair who does the Linux stuff and likes talking about
linguistics and free software tools. Yeah he's back, apparently.
