[lug] web hosting recommendations

I know this has been asked a number of time before on this alias but my 
wife asked me... and so I ask again.

A small local company needs to move to a new hosting service. They are 
unhappy with the level of support they get from their current supplier.
They can handle content but would need all the infrastrucutre including 
shopping cart support provided. Service and support matters.
Suggestions? Who do they stay away from?
