howdy,

if anybody is interested in any of the following send me an email (probably best offline).  all of the stuff is in excellent condition.  i'm in boulder.  thanks and have a great holiday / new year!  

1) $70 - supermicro P4SGE : 1U, i believe 320G HD and 2 or 4G or ram

i wiped the drive a couple of months ago so i forget the exact specs of the  memory.  i believe the ram is accurate though.  it's a Pent 4 so not a burner but it's fully functional and was running centos fine as a lamp server when i wiped it.  i bought it awhile back to use as an emergency reserve server in case a much more powerful and main web server went down and i needed to replace something this would get me through during any short down time period.  essentially it was a mirror of the main system. might be nice in a similar role for someone else or simply a server to play around with.

2) $20 - P4 midtower with 2 G RAM (really handsome solid black metal case w/ extra components)

this actually used to be a win xp system i used for many moons and always performed well.  never had any issues with it and even used it as a recording studio at one time.  it comes with no hard drives.   i didn't have time to get the data off and wipe them so i decided to remove them instead.  fully functional otherwise.  the case is solid metal, black and looks brand new.  basic but handsome and a tank.  it was designed by one of the italian car companies (masarati or ferari...???) if iirc when i bought the thing.  if you don't want to use the system outright, it might be good to repurpose it to build your own.  includes installed 1 dvd, 1 dvd R+W, 1 sata card (since stock ide on mobo), 1 vid card which powered a 23"monitor, 1 ethernet card and i put in a 350 watt power supply back in the day so you have a bunch of parts to repurpose as well.

3) $15 (for all 3) - extension cables : 1 ps2 mouse, 1 ps2 keyboard and 1 vga cables

each is it's own cable.  sturdy.  creme colored.  they're 30+ feet (maybe more but i'm too lazy to measure them ;)).  i used them to get #2 computer far away from the monitor, kb and mouse when i used #2 as a recording studio.  worked fine.  vid cable powered a 23" monitor and it's vga but that's all i know. i think the best i could find for these currently online was about $30+ new and in black.   might be nice if you want to move a server away.  sure you have wireless kb / mice.. but not monitors ;)

4) $20 - epson perfection 1650 scanner (flatbed can scan legal size docs)

works fine.  excellent condition.   has an extra film slide gadget you lay on the bed if you want to scan negatives.  apparently there is a linux driver for it (based on search) but i used it with xp. epson stopped making a driver past xp but you can buy a newer win driver from a third party (i believe it's scanvue - google it) that realized the demand for the driver for $35 or $75 depending on which version and features you get. i just don't need it or use much anymore.  i'd keep it and buy the driver for it but i don't have the space so it has to go.  chk specs online.  it's scans pretty high res.

5) $20 - compaq athalon xp processor 15.6" laptop; 1G Ram, 80G HD 

mint condition.  older processor.  i think 1 G ram and 80G HD.  has xp on it and i just don't use the thing.  has seen very little use in it's lifetime.  comes with power brick but not sure current battery life since i always used it plugged in anyway.   i still need to restore teh disk from the restore partition to get it to a clean slate but if anyone interested let me know.  might make a good extra isolated system for internet downloads or maybe run linux on?

6) $6 - 2 sets of mesh storage bags

yeah these are old but in mint condition and a lot of perl is still perl.  i just need the space otherwise i'd keep em around :)
