[lug] Has Anyone Tried Ubuntu MATE?

I haven't tried ubuntu Mate, but I run Linux Mint Debian Edition with
Mate and it works like a charm. After yesterday discussion, I would be
more inclined to try Debian Jessie with Mate than Ubuntu. but the
latter has probably better hw support.
