[lug] Debian (KDE) active/inactive window colors

Hi,

I've recently installed Debian stable as my work desktop OS.  I've been 
spending some time configuring the desktop to a look I like (KDE), but 
am stuck on two related things.

1.  If I go to System Settings -> Workspace Appearance -> Window 
Decorations and try the Get New Decorations button a window pops up but 
it never gets past "Initializing".

2.  Of the four available choices for Window Decorations, Laptop is 
decent enough, but I would like to change the colors of the active and 
inactive windows.  The Configure Decoration button doesn't provide the 
option to change those colors.
