I already have HTML, WikiMarkup, and BBCODE in my head. I'm not sure I
can fit Markdown in there without crossing some synapses.

Jekyll appears to be quite capable, and capable of being made quite
complex. Seems that knowing Ruby could be useful there too -- woops,
there's another language. I wasn't able to figure out the workflow from
what I read at http://jekyllrb.com/docs/home/ and I'm pretty sure that in
the steps listed at the quickstart page, there's a lot of *STUFF* that
happens between
  $ cd myblog/
and
  $ bundle exec jekyll serve

However, I'll cross that bridge if I decide to try that path.
